"We recently returned from a trip to Tahoe which I believe ranks somewhere between filet mignon for dinner and heaven on the doggie rating scale.  Ike had a blast hiking and playing in the lake - he's always up for anything and loved participating in all our Tahoe activities.  He would go, go, go all day and then enjoy some naps in laps in the evening.

He's still doing great in obedience and works with amazing intensity.  Although he's got great attention for his age, I'm excited to watch his focus grow and compliment such a diligent work effort.  He has learned many commands from watching his older brother and has a better and more reliable recall.  He's also become quite the Frisbee fan and rivals any retriever with his retrieval skills, always dropping the Frisbee to the side of my right foot, so that it will be closer to my throwing arm."  Xan (Ike update at age 7 months)

The Legends Behind the Names


Johnny Ringo

Johnny Ringo was a Tombstone, AZ outlaw that rode with the Clanton gang. Best known for being devilishly handsome but dangerous. He met his match in Doc Holliday, or so legend has it.

Curly Bill

Known as "Arizona's most famous outlaw"and another Clanton gang member, Curly Bill Brocius remained a mystery man to all who knew him. Curly Bill's career as an outlaw was ended abruptly by Wyatt Earp.

Cowboy Faction

Ike Clanton is probably one of the best known members of the Clanton gang, better known as the "Cowboys" in Tombstone, AZ. Rustling and train robbing was their way of life until broken and scattered by the Earp brothers and Doc Holliday.

Johnny Behind the Duece

A young gambler, Johnny was saved from a lynch mob by Wyatt Earp. Johnny is reputed to have returned the favor by reporting Johnny Ringo's hideout to Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday.

Pearl Hart

Pearl was one of Arizona's most famous women outlaws. She only committed one train robbery, but was famous nonetheless for her charm and outspokenness on women's liberation.

Big Nose Kate

Best known as the beautiful and fiery common-law wife of Doc Holliday, Kate was a wild woman nevertheless even by today's standards!
